Tesla demonstrates unmanned Robotaxi in daylight for the first time (video)
Tesla unveiled the Robotaxi in daylight for the first time at the Frunk or Treat event held at Gigafactory in Texas.
Here's What We Know
The Halloween event featured a number of exclusives, including one of the first Cybertrucks after a crash test and an autonomous Robotaxi with a streamlined design, no steering wheel or pedals.
The Robotaxi was shown for the first time in the afternoon, and although it still looks futuristic, the lines have become less sharp.
The Robotaxi panels are made of aluminium and coated with a shimmering golden paint job, which differs from the steel shine of the Cybertruck. The design, created by Franz von Holzhausen, is in line with Tesla's corporate identity, and the rear light bar resembles the updated Model Y Juniper.
Particularly eye-catching are the 21-inch wheels with Continental tyres, painted half in the colour of the hood.
