Fenix has introduced a new model of the LD45R flashlight, which features an OLED status display and digital zoom.

Here's What We Know

The LD45R allows you to easily switch between a focused and a diffused beam using a 270° rotary dial. This flashlight reaches a brightness of up to 2800 lumens and can illuminate up to 480 metres.

The LD45R has five brightness levels, including a strobe light and SOS mode. It is powered by a 21700 rechargeable battery that provides up to 65 hours of low-light operation.

High mode at 1000 lumens lasts about 2 hours and 50 minutes, and Turbo mode with a maximum brightness of 2800 lumens lasts up to 2 hours and 40 minutes. It should be noted that in Turbo mode, the brightness decreases after a short time.

The flashlight can be charged via the USB-C port. However, Fenix warns that only certain battery models should be used, as others may not have sufficient power

The LD45R, which weighs 300 grams and is 16 cm long, is expected to be available for around $160.
