iOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence is out

Along with the announcement of the updated iMac, Apple has released iOS 18.1, which will finally feature artificial intelligence known as Apple Intelligence. In addition, the update promises to bring improvements to Siri, fixes to the new Camera Control button, call recording, privacy improvements, and bug fixes.

Which iPhones are available for the 18.1 update

iOS 18.1 is already available for all current iPhone models (starting with the iPhone XS and XR), but Apple Intelligence features will not be present everywhere. Currently, the list of models that will receive it includes:

iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 16
iPhone 16 Plus
iPhone 16 Pro
iPhone 16 Pro Max

The update is already available, to force check its availability, go to Settings - General - Software Update. The update has the technical marking 22B83 and takes more than 1 GB. The iPadOS 18.1 update is also available for iPad owners.
