YouTube Music gets updated menus on Android and iOS
YouTube Music has announced an important update to its three-dot menu design that will significantly change the way it looks.
Here's What We Know
The menu now has a new look: instead of the old one that took up the entire width of the screen, a floating panel with rounded corners has appeared. Although the background colour of the app remains dark, the new design gives it a fresher look.
The changes apply to all three-dot menus in the app. However, the sharing feature still looks the same on Android, while the new design has already been implemented on iOS.
The button for connecting to devices for broadcasting has also been updated. It now overlays the album artwork, which avoids the bright glow.
Earlier this month, YouTube announced a number of updates to its main app, including changes to the bottom navigation bar.
