Red Dead Redemption is one of the most popular franchises not only in Rockstar but also in the gaming industry in general. However, only the 2nd part was available on PC, and the first one, which was released in 2010, was bypassed by PC, but on 29 October, everything changed.

Here's What We Know

Red Dead Redemption is an open-world action adventure created by Rockstar Games that takes players to the West of America in the early 20th century, at a time when the traditional "wild west" is gradually becoming a thing of the past. We play as John Marston, an outlaw who is forced to help the government catch members of his former gang. The agency has captured John's wife and son, so he has no choice but to go in search of his old comrades and complete brutal tasks that bring him closer to freedom.

As he travels through a variety of locations, from the Mexican deserts to the American mountains, John meets both allies and enemies who help him rethink the past. The story of Red Dead Redemption explores the themes of redemption, retribution, and the power of personal freedom, giving the last breath to the Western era and showing that even heroes with a dark past can find a way to redemption (or can they?).

The port is being developed by Double Eleven. The developers promise gamers a native resolution of up to 4K with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, support for ultra-wide and ultra-wide monitors (21:9 and 32:9), as well as support for HDR 10.

The RDR will also feature NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 image scaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS frame generation, adjustable rendering range, shadow quality settings, and much more. And it costs $50.
