Apple continues the week of announcements with new products and introduced an updated Mac mini with powerful M4 and M4 Pro chips.

Here's What We Know

This compact computer is now only 5 by 5 inches and is the first Mac to support Thunderbolt 5, which allows for much faster data transfer.

The new Mac mini is available for pre-order at a starting price of $599 for a 16GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. It will go on sale on 8 November.

Apple claims that the M4's performance is 1.8 times faster than the previous M1 model, while the M4 Pro delivers even more power for demanding tasks.

The updated model features a new thermal architecture that optimises ventilation, as well as front and rear ports for easy connectivity.
