Xiaomi has released a new competitor to the iPhone 16 Pro - the compact flagship Xiaomi 15 with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
Xiaomi has unveiled its new compact flagship, the Xiaomi 15, which is one of the first smartphones to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The novelty has a similar design to the previous model, but has received a number of improvements.
Externally, Xiaomi 15 has a matte frame with flat edges, as well as narrower bezels - 1.38 mm around the 6.36-inch AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz. The display has a brightness of 3200 nits, which is higher than the 3000 nits of the Xiaomi 14.
The smartphone has become slightly thinner and narrower, weighing 189g. It has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 flash memory. The 5400 mAh battery provides 17% longer battery life while maintaining support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As for the cameras, Xiaomi 15 has an upgraded telephoto camera. The main camera has 50 MP, and there are also ultra-wide-angle and 50 MP telephoto cameras, which allows you to shoot video in 8K quality.
The price of Xiaomi 15 starts at 4449 yuan ($630) in China. Versions with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will also be available. There is no information on international availability yet, but a global release is expected.
