Samsung may announce One UI 7.0 at developer conference in November

Samsung is planning to hold a second developer conference in November, where it is likely to unveil One UI 7.0 for its Galaxy smartphones. The South Korean company recently confirmed that the new version of One UI, which is based on Android 15, will be officially released next year.

Here's What We Know

During the previous conference in 2023, Samsung demonstrated a stable version of One UI 6.0, so many smartphone owners are waiting for news about One UI 7.0. However, the company has not yet provided details about this shell, focusing on the development of the Tizen OS and generative artificial intelligence technologies.

Samsung has announced Samsung Developer Conference Korea 2024 to be held on 21 November. It will be an online event, for which registration is already open. The conference will feature two keynote speeches and 29 sessions to discuss innovations in digital healthcare and the Matter protocol for SmartThings.

Although Samsung has not yet disclosed details about One UI 7.0, one of the keynotes at the conference will focus on improving the user experience. This could indicate that the company will share new features or updates to this shell for its Galaxy devices.
