HONOR announces Magic7 in China: smartphone with 80W wireless charging and Snapdragon 8 Elite
HONOR has announced new Magic7 smartphones, including the Vanilla and Pro models. Despite being a more affordable version, Magic7 is still a high-end device.
Here's What We Know
HONOR Magic7 is made of metal and glass, has a flat display with a standard camera hole. There is no 3D face scanning, but there is regular recognition using the front camera. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1264 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Magic7 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The smartphone is available in several variants: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as variants with 16GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB of internal storage.
The 5650 mAh battery supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. The HONOR Magic7 also has cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
The device measures 162.1 x 75.8 x 7.95 mm and weighs 199 grams.
The phone is available in Bronze, Moonlight, Show Domain White, Sky Blue and Velvet Black colours. The price starts at 4499 yuan ($631) in China and will be higher for the international market.
