Google Pixel Tablet 3 will get USB-C to connect to monitors
Recently, information about the Google Pixel Tablet 3 has been leaked, although the Pixel Tablet 2 has not yet been announced. According to Android Authority, the new tablet can become a serious alternative to traditional laptops.
Here's What We Know
Sources indicate that Google will equip the device with a second USB-C controller that will support the connection of external displays via DisplayPort. This feature is intended exclusively for tablets and will not be available for smartphones such as the Pixel 11.
The Pixel Tablet already has two USB ports, and the new controller will provide more flexibility, especially when used with a dock, which is projected to remain relevant until at least 2027.
The port will be compatible with USB 3.2 and will allow the connection of external monitors, which can open up new opportunities for work. Google is actively working on a desktop mode similar to Samsung DeX so that users can get a comfortable experience comparable to desktop OSes.
Google plans to release new Pixel Tablet models every two years, adapting them to market needs.
