There is constant information about new graphics cards from NVIDIA from insiders, but there is practically no news about the next generation of graphics accelerators from AMD. And, finally, the manufacturer itself informed when we should expect important announcements.

Here's What We Know

As part of the Q3 2024 financial report, AMD CEO Lisa Su said that the company will unveil its new graphics cards, including RDNA 4, in early 2025.

She made the following comment:

In addition to a significant increase in gaming performance, RDNA 4 delivers significantly higher ray tracing performance and adds new artificial intelligence capabilities.

There is a possibility that the wording "in early 2025" refers to the major CES 2025 trade show, which would be an ideal platform to unveil the new graphics cards. Perhaps the company will simultaneously unveil the Strix Halo and Fire Range line of processors, as well as the Ryzen Z2 chip for portable consoles.
