Motorola prepares Razr 50s clamshell for international launch

Motorola is preparing to release a new budget folding phone Razr 50s, which may soon appear on the international market.

The first information about the device appeared online in September 2024, when the model received the HDR10+ certificate. The Razr 50s is already available in Japan, but the global release date has not yet been announced.

Recently, the phone appeared in the list of supported products on the Google Play Console, indicating that the global debut is approaching. It is known that the Motorola Razr 50s is codenamed "aito" and will be presented under the Moto Razr 50s codename.

The device is equipped with a 6.9-inch OLED folding screen, a 3.6-inch OLED display on the lid, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor.

It has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, as well as a 50 MP + 13 MP camera on the back and 32 MP on the front.

The Motorola Razr 50s runs on Android 14 and has a 4200 mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.4 and IPX8 protection.
