One UI 7 beta coming soon to Galaxy S23 and S24: new features and updated design

Samsung is finally ready to introduce the One UI 7 beta for Galaxy S23 and S24 smartphones. Although users are usually used to stable updates at this time, the delay with the new version is due to major changes in the software.

The company is actively working on improvements that relate not only to design but also to functionality.

According to preliminary data, One UI 7 will have a new style for the notification centre, similar to iOS.

Users will get separate panels for notifications and quick settings, which is similar to the implementation in HiOS/XOS. Famous leaker Tarun Vats has posted screenshots of the beta forum, confirming that Samsung is indeed preparing this update.

No release date has been announced yet, but we hope that the new features will be available soon. If the wait drags on until January, it could lead to the Galaxy S25 being released with One UI 6.1.1.
