There will be more space horror films: Ridley Scott confirms production of new Alien instalment

A few days the head of 20th Century Studios Steve Asbell revealed the upcoming plans of the film company and they include a sequel to the sci-fi horror "Alien: Romulus" (Alien: Romulus).

The creator of the famous media franchise Ridley Scott in an interview with Hollywood Reporter confirmed that work on the new film has already started.

Unfortunately, Ridley Scott did not reveal absolutely no information, but given the popularity of Alien, the message about the work on the new part will surely please numerous fans of space horror film.

Recall, Alien: Romulus was released in August 2024 and was warmly received by critics and the public. The film grossed more than $300 million at the box office, and in October became available in digital format. And in 2025 is expected to premiere the series Alien: Earth.
