Bloomberg: for 2026, Apple is preparing a MacBook Pro with an updated design and OLED display
Apple recently introduced new MacBook Pro models with M4 chips. Customers are offered laptops with a significant power boost, with increased performance, more RAM and integrated Apple Intelligence technology, but the design of the device has remained completely unchanged.
For those who would like to get a computer in a new visual design there is good news from insider and journalist Bloomberg Mark Gurman.
Here's What We Know
In his weekly Power On news column, Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is indeed working on redesigning the MacBook Pro, but those models won't come out until 2026.
According to him, users will get computers with 14- and 16-inch OLED displays instead of mini-LED. The body of the laptops will become more compact.
The 2025 MacBook Pro 2025 models will also be released, but apart from the M5, M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, we shouldn't expect any design changes from them.
