Netflix has confirmed that it will remove almost all of its interactive shows and movies from 1 December.

Here's What We Know

Of the 24 interactive specials on the platform, only four will remain: 'Black Mirror: Brandashmyg', 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend', 'Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls' and 'You vs. Wild'. The rest, including specials based on "Carmen Sandiego," "Boss Milkman" and "Puss in Boots," will be removed after December 1.

Company spokeswoman Chrissy Kelleher explained that the interactive feature, which began in 2017, has served its purpose but is now limited as Netflix focuses on other technology efforts.

Former Netflix games boss Mike Verdu also confirmed that the company will no longer be creating interactive games. Despite this, Netflix continues to grow its games division, offering subscribers a wide range of mobile games based on its reality shows. However, the company recently shut down its AAA game studio before releasing at least one game.
