Samsung will unveil a new mixed reality device (XR) in 2025
Samsung is planning to make another attempt to enter the Augmented Reality (XR) device market.

Samsung's Q3 2024 financial report says that the Korean manufacturer will unveil a new XR device, probably in 2025. This is likely to happen at the Galaxy Unpacked event in early January, where the Galaxy S25 series of flagship smartphones will also be showcased.
Samsung's new mixed reality device is being created in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm.
According to unconfirmed information, the Samsung XR device will be powered by a Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip paired with 16GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system.
The gadget will be equipped with various sensors as well as a micro-OLED display with high pixel density and increased brightness for an immersive visual experience.
