Ubisoft has shared two interesting news about Star Wars Outlaws action game, which was released in August 2024 and although it was not an outright failure, it was heavily criticised and prompted the company to make serious decisions.

Here's What We Know

Star Wars Outlaws has a new creative director - instead of Julian Gerighty, Drew Rechner will be in charge of the game development.

As you know, Ubisoft management ordered to improve the technical state of the game before the Christmas holidays and the new head said that to determine the main shortcomings the team uses not only player feedback in shops, but also such platforms as comments under the videos of bloggers, posts in social networks and other sources.

Star Wars Outlaws will be released on Steam on 21 November and patch 1.4 will be released on the same day. Ubisoft says it will be the biggest yet and will improve key aspects of the game, including:

  • combat, which will be made more interesting and deeper;
  • stealth will become clearer and more user-friendly;
  • controls will be made logical and responsive.

We would like to remind you that the first story add-on Wild Card will be released on 21 November, in which players will be able to carry out a daring heist together with the iconic character of the Star Wars franchise Lando Calrissian.
