Sharp introduces XP-X171Q 4K laser projector with up to 16,500 lumens

Sharp has announced the XP-X171Q 4K laser projector, a new business laser projector that delivers up to 16,500 lumens.
Here's What We Know
The model is designed for use in conference rooms, classrooms and museums. The XP-X171Q uses a laser light source where a blue laser is responsible for high brightness and a red auxiliary laser enhances colours. The light source is expected to last up to 20,000 hours without maintenance.
The projector supports a variety of motorised lenses with focal lengths ranging from 0.31 to 4.00, and has a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and 16:10 aspect ratio.
Input ports include two HDMI 2.0 and HDBaseT, as well as ProAssist software for remote control.
The price has not yet been announced.
