Turkey is learning to produce FPV drones
The Turkish company ASISGUARD has developed a family of FPV drones for a variety of tasks, including indoor use.
Here's What We Know
ASISGUARD CEO Barış Düzgün explained that interest in small and inexpensive FPV drones has been growing recently. That is why his company has been developing its own FPV drones capable of carrying up to 1.5 kg of explosives and reaching speeds of over 150 km/h for a year and a half.
The development is based on feedback from the military, which, according to Dusguin, has requested drones that can operate in conditions of electronic interference.
ASISGUARD is also working on a technology to relay signals through other drones of this type, which would allow targets to be hit in hard-to-reach areas. These drones are reportedly already in use by the Turkish army.
Interestingly, FPV drones are becoming popular in many armies around the world. For example, Israeli forces in Lebanon have begun using these drones against the Hezbollah terrorist group. However, it is clear that the use of such drones is an isolated and by no means systemic phenomenon.
