Kojima Productions and 505 Games have decided to unexpectedly release Death Stranding Director's Cut on Xbox.

Here's What We Know

Previously, the game was only available on PC and PlayStation, but now you can play it on Series X/S.

Death Stranding Director's Cut is a third-person open-world adventure game. The story tells of a post-apocalyptic America where the world of the dead has infiltrated the world of the living. The protagonist Sam Bridges has to connect all the survivors of the terrible event and create a single system that will give hope to humanity for further survival. People call Death Stranding a "courier simulator" because most of the gameplay is the delivery of valuable items. But the journey from point A to point B will never be easy.

First of all, you need to distribute the cargo correctly. If you take everything at once, the character will start to lose balance, which will lead to the fact that you will either lose or damage most of the things. You also need to constantly scan the area. Somewhere the river may be deeper, somewhere the landscape is uneven, or you may need to use a ladder or rope to move on. A special feature is that players can build their own structures to facilitate travel, which are available to other gamers.

Among the enemies you will meet BTs - black ugly ghosts that have left the world of the dead and MULEs - a nomadic tribe that hunts couriers. In general, Death Stranding is a meditative game where players wander alone in the dead but beautiful America. Not everyone liked this specificity of the gameplay, but it is worth a try.

The game also has a real Hollywood cast: Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, Mads Mikkelsen, and others. And the Director's Cut edition adds new equipment, vehicles, locations, and additional tasks to the game.
