21 million copies of Monster Hunter: World and 14.5 million copies of Resident Evil 2 Remake - Capcom has updated the impressive sales stats for its 'platinum' games

Capcom has updated the sales statistics of its "platinum" games - those projects that have taken the bar of one million copies or more.

Here's What We Know

It should be noted that almost all Capcom games are selling well and the list below confirms it. The sales figures shown are as of 30 September, with the difference in brackets compared to 30 June 2024.

Resident Evil series

• Resident Evil 2 remake - 14.5 million copies (+300k);
• Resident Evil 7: Biohazard - 14 million (+300k);
• Resident Evil Village - 10.5 million (+400k);
• Resident Evil 5 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) - 9.4 million (+200k);
• Resident Evil 6 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) - 9.3 million (+100k);
• Resident Evil 3 remake - 9.2 million (+200 thousand);
• Resident Evil 4 remake - 8 million (+400 thousand);
• Resident Evil HD remaster (PS3) - 4.5 million (+200k);
• Resident Evil 0 HD remaster - 4.4 million (+200k);
• Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - 3.6 million (+100k);
