OnePlus Ace 5 Pro may get 24 GB of RAM and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip

OnePlus is preparing to release new Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models that will receive significant updates. According to a Weibo tipster, Smart Pikachu, the new devices will have an improved camera design and ceramic body.

OnePlus refused to integrate the camera module into the frame, but retained its round shape.

The Ace 5 will have a powerful battery and a classic notification slider, while the Pro model will have 24 GB of RAM. The main chipset is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the Pro version is likely to feature Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The Ace 5 series features a 1.5K OLED display from BOE with 100W fast charging support, without wireless capability. The Ace 5 Pro's camera will also be upgraded to include a Sony IMX906 and ISOCELL JN1 telephoto lens.

The Ace 5 Pro is expected to cost more than its predecessor due to the new chip and improved features.
