Tesla has announced a special promotion for Model Y buyers in Europe: when ordering a new car before 31 December 2024, the customer gets one year of free charging at all Tesla Supercharger stations. However, the offer is limited by a number of conditions.

The promotion applies exclusively to new cars. In addition, only charging costs are covered: "downtime fees" and other additional charges remain the responsibility of the driver. This offer can also be combined with other financing options and promotions for the Model Y available on Tesla's website, including discounted interest rates and discounts on stock cars.

Here's What We Know

A year of free charging is tied not only to the vehicle's VIN, but also to the first listed owner who took delivery of the car from the manufacturer. Transfer of ownership does not entitle a new Model Y user to free charging.

For corporate customers, there is an additional condition: in order to benefit from free charging, the driver who will accept the car must be specified in the order.

There are no restrictions on the modification of the Model Y. Tesla offers four versions in Europe: a base version with rear-wheel drive and LFP battery with a range of up to 455 kilometres on WLTP, as well as three versions with a larger battery - with rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and a performance version with all-wheel drive. In Germany, prices for the Model Y RWD with the extended battery start from €49,000 and the Model Y AWD from €55,000.
