It's official: hit action game Stellar Blade will be released on PC in 2025
It's long been a certainty that the acclaimed action game Stellar Blade won't be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for long and will soon be released on PC and possibly Xbox. This is indirectly confirmed not only by Sony's new strategy, but also by a fresh report from Shift Up studio.
Here's What We Know
Shift Up Studios released its financial report for the third quarter of 2024, followed by a conversation with investors in which the developers confirmed that they expect to release a PC version of Stellar Blade in 2025.
Considering that the game was released in April 2024, we can assume that Stellar Blade will be released on PC after the year is up, as third-party developers usually sign a deal with Sony for just such a timeframe.
In the same conversation, Shift Up studio executives said that Stellar Blade is still selling great, although they expect the game to be even more popular on PC due to the huge number of Steam users and point to Black Myth: Wukong as an example.
