Formally, the Cadillac Vistiq three-row electric SUV was unveiled a year ago. But only now Cadillac has revealed all the details. It became known when and where production will begin, specifications and price.

Design and technology

In Cadillac's lineup, the new SUV named Vistiq is positioned a step below the Escalade, although the pair have almost identical wheelbases. However, the new electric vehicle isn't as long, tall or wide as the Escalade, making it more practical for city driving.

On the outside, the Vistiq resembles a smaller Escalade with its signature Black Crystal Shield backlit grille, original décor elements and vertical headlights. 21-inch wheels are standard, with 22- and 23-inch wheels available at an additional cost.

Inside, the Vistiq has a 33.0-inch display that integrates the digital instrument cluster and multimedia system display. Below on the centre console is an additional touchscreen display for climate system settings. The third row offers the same comfort as the first two, including full armrests and smartphone chargers.

The standard Vistiq equipment list includes five-zone climate control and an AKG Studio Audio sound system with 23 speakers and Dolby Atmos support. Available for the car is General Motors' Super Cruise automated driving system and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bi-directional charging technology to transfer power from the car to the home. The Night Vision 12 night vision system can be ordered as an optional extra.

Cadillac will also offer an electric vehicle with steerable rear wheels (Active Rear Steer system), Air Ride adaptive suspension and an active noise cancellation system in the cabin.

Power, battery, range

The Cadillac Vistiq has a dual-motor all-wheel drive system. The system has a power output of 615 hp and maximum torque reaches 650 lb-ft (880 Nm). The SUV gets a 102 kWh battery, providing a range of about 300 miles (482 km) on a single charge. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) takes 3.7 seconds.

Here's What We Know

Cadillac's new model will be global. First it will appear in the US and Canada, and then in other markets where this American brand is represented.

In its home country, the Cadillac Vistiq 2026 model year will be available in three packages: Luxury, Sport and Premium Luxury. A fourth package called Platinum "with extra performance" will be available next summer. The Vistiq starts at $78,790 (including a $1,395 delivery charge).

Series production of the Cadillac Vistiq will begin in the first half of 2025 at General Motors' Spring Hill, Tennessee plant.
