Red Magic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ gaming flagships with dual processors and powerful liquid-metal cooling are officially unveiled
nubia has announced the new Red Magic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ flagship smartphones, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite "Extreme Edition" processor as well as its own Red Core R3 gaming processor with support for 120fps gaming at 2K resolution.
Here's What We Know
Both devices have similar specs but differ in some aspects, including battery capacity and charger power. The Red Magic 10 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging, while the Pro+ has a 7,050mAh battery with 120W charging. In terms of memory, the Red Magic 10 Pro is available with 256GB or 512GB of main storage and 12GB of RAM, while the Pro+ is available with 512GB or 1TB of main storage and 16GB or 24GB of RAM. All configurations use the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro persistent UFS.
Both smartphones are geared towards gamers and feature a sophisticated cooling system that includes a 3D evaporation chamber, copper foil and graphene layer. This is the first time in the series to use liquid metal cooling and active cooling with a centrifugal fan.
The Red Magic 10 Pro and Pro+ feature a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1216x2688 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports brightness up to 2000 nits and has an on-screen 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, there are two 50-megapixel cameras and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The smartphones also feature a 3.5mm audio jack.
The smartphones are available for pre-order and will go on sale on 18 November. Prices range from 5,299 yuan (~€690) for the 10 Pro model to 9,499 yuan (~€1,240) for the special Golden Saga Red Magic 10 Pro+ version.
