The updated VW Tiguan for the U.S. has revealed a taillamp
Volkswagen has decided to attract attention before the Los Angeles Auto Show even begins by announcing the debut of the redesigned Tiguan 2025 for the US market. The announcement is accompanied by a single photo of the car's taillight.
Here's What We Know
The taillight shown is similar to the ones fitted in the European Volkswagen Tayron. But there are some differences - the American Tiguan has added red accents on the sides.
It is already known that the basis for the American Tiguan will be a long-wheelbase version of the Tayron with some changes in design, powertrains and equipment. In short, Volkswagen promises that the Tiguan will have its own "American face". The Tiguan's platform is expected to remain the same as the Tayron (pictured below) - MQB evo.
According to preliminary information, the Tiguan 2025 will get a whole collection of auxiliary systems: adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistant, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist recognition, as well as sign recognition and exit warning assistants.
The official unveiling of the American VW Tiguan 2025 will take place on 20 November.
