Huawei to launch Mate 70 series on 26 November

Huawei has officially announced the release date of the new Mate 70 series of smartphones. Richard Yu, CEO of the CBG division, said that the phones will be presented on 26 November 2024.

This announcement was made at the Guangzhou Motor Show. Although there has been no official confirmation on Huawei's social media, the news has already attracted a lot of attention.

The Mate 70 line will consist of four models: Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and Mate 70 RS Ultimate.

The new smartphones are likely to feature the HarmonyOS Next operating system, which is not based on AOSP. We are also waiting for the HiSilicon Kirin 9100 chip, built on the 6nm SMIC process and capable of competing with the Snapdragon 888 and Dimensity 9000.
