Google Play Store may get a new feature that will give more control over the automatic installation of games.

Here's What We Know

The option will allow users to choose whether they want to download games via mobile data or Wi-Fi only. Now, even if you set up Wi-Fi only, the Play Store can automatically download the game via the mobile Internet.

In the future, in an updated version of the Play Store, users will be able to set the automatic download options to "Over any network" or "Wi-Fi only". If the size of the game is larger than expected, Google Play will provide a notification so that the user can confirm their settings before installation.
