Didn't have time to send a message? WhatsApp will now save it as a draft

WhatsApp, the most popular messaging platform, has finally got a draft feature.

Here's What We Know

Users can now save unfinished messages and easily find them later. Drafts will be marked with a special indicator and moved to the top of the chat list to make them easier to find.

This feature has been available on other platforms for a long time, but WhatsApp only introduced it at the end of 2024. Users can now take their time when sending messages, editing them as needed.

WhatsApp hit the 100 million monthly active users mark in July and has recently added several useful features, including an inbuilt address book and custom lists to organise chats.
