Xiaomi 15 Pro beats Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max in battery life test

A recent test on YouTube channel TechDroider has revealed that Xiaomi 15 Pro has become the leader among flagship smartphones in terms of battery life.

The test involved Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12, iPhone 16 Pro Max and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The Xiaomi 15 Pro lasted 12 hours and 23 minutes, leaving the competition behind. The device's success was aided by a large 6,100 mAh battery and an energy efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

In comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max took second place with a result of 11 hours and 16 minutes, while the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra lasted 10 hours and 23 minutes. The test simulated normal user activities such as gaming, watching videos and surfing the internet. The Xiaomi 15 Pro also posted a moderate temperature of 43.8°C, indicating its balanced performance. This result raises the bar for 2024 flagship smartphones.
