Insider: FromSoftware is developing a remaster of Dark Souls 3

On the air of the XboxEra podcast, renowned insider Shpeshal_Nick shared some interesting news that is sure to catch the attention of FromSoftware game fans.

Nick Baker stated that the Japanese studio is developing a remaster of Dark Souls 3.

The insider didn't share any additional information, but the release of such a re-release wouldn't be a big sensation, as previous Dark Souls instalments received improved versions. Usually in them the developers slightly improved graphics, adapted the games to modern platforms at the time of the remaster's release, embedded add-ons and sometimes introduced new localisations.

It's worth noting that the base version of Dark Souls 3 runs at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series, but this figure is available only at 1080p resolution. Probably, in Dark Souls 3 Remastered this drawback will be corrected.
