Huawei has started pre-orders for the new Mate 70 series of smartphones, which will be officially unveiled on 26 November.

Here's What We Know

The series will include three models: the Mate 70, the Mate 70 Pro and the Mate 70 Pro+. The Huawei-owned Vmall website indicates that there will be 5 memory variants and 8 colours available for these devices. More than 130,000 pre-orders were registered in the first 10 hours after pre-orders opened, and that number is expected to surpass one million by launch time.

The official teaser showed that Huawei will not follow the flat frame trend popularised by other manufacturers. The image, likely of the Mate 70 Pro, shows three cameras on the back, one of which features a periscopic lens. The Mate 70 and Mate 70 Pro will be available in black, white, green and purple colours with 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB storage. The Mate 70 Pro+ will offer black, white, gold and sky blue colours with 16GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage.
