How many stories have we seen of developers leaving large studios to start their own? A lot of them. And November was no exception to such events.
Here's What We Know
Adam Williams, a former head writer at Quantic Dream who worked on Detroit: Become Human and Star Wars Eclipse, announced the opening of his studio Republic Games.
The studio is funded by Korean publisher Krafton, which is best known for the PUBG game.
The details of the upcoming game remain unknown, but it is described as a dark, mature fantasy role-playing game, and the plot is a mixture of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Orwell's 1984.
The studio plans to give players great gameplay, a great story, inspiring characters, and a fantasy experience they will remember.
