Samsung is working on a new frame interpolation feature for Galaxy smartphones that will provide a smoother gaming experience.

Here's What We Know

The technology will generate extra frames in games, which will boost the frame rate from 60Hz to 120Hz. The new feature is expected to debut in the Galaxy S25 series, which will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Samsung may reportedly utilise Qualcomm's Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2.0 technology, which doubles the frame rate in games without increasing power consumption. This will allow Galaxy smartphones to deliver smooth gaming without sacrificing battery life or device heating.

Samsung has previously offered a similar feature called Frame Booster, but the new technology promises greater improvements. The new feature is expected to be available only on Galaxy devices with Snapdragon processors.
