Samsung is actively moving forward with the development of Android 15 and One UI 7 for its smartphones and today, 18 November, the first internal test firmware for the Galaxy A53 has been discovered on the company's servers. This indicates that Samsung is gearing up for a wide launch of the One UI 7.0 beta programme.

Here's What We Know

Currently, the test firmware for the Galaxy A53 is only an internal build, and there is no guarantee that this smartphone will participate in the beta programme yet. For now, the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta version of One UI 7.0 will only be available for the Galaxy S24 lineup, but other devices may join the programme in the future.

The One UI 7.0 stable update is expected to be released early next year, following the launch of the flagship Galaxy S25 line-up. For the Galaxy A53, this will be the third major update to the Android operating system. One UI 7.0 will be the biggest UI update in recent years, offering significant changes in design and functionality.
