Redmi has officially revealed some details about the K80 and K80 Pro flagships ahead of the announcement
Redmi has finally revealed the first details about the new K80 series of smartphones, which will include two models - K80 and K80 Pro.
Here's What We Know
Both devices in the series will feature a 2K resolution screen developed by TCL Huaxing. The screen uses a special M9 luminescent material, which reduces power consumption by 20.3%.
The maximum brightness of the display is 1800 nits. Both devices support DC Dimming technology, polarised light for eye protection and have 3 TUV Rheinland certifications including a hardware flicker-free blue light filter. In addition, both models will be equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
According to other leaks, the K80 will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a triple camera with a 50 MP main module as well as a 20 MP selfie camera. The battery capacity will be 6500 mAh with 90W fast charging support. The K80 Pro will get a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a triple main camera with a telephoto lens, and a 6000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
No official launch date for the K80 and K80 Pro has been announced yet, but it is confirmed that they will be released next week.
