Sony's exclusive achievement: the only publisher whose games have been nominated for the Game of the Year award for 10 years in a row

We wrote that PlayStation has the largest number of nominations among all publishers at The Game Awards 2024. However, we also learned about another achievement of the Japanese giant.

Here's What We Know

Sony games have been nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards for ten years in a row. The only time this did not happen was in 2014, the first year of The Game Awards.

• 2015: Bloodborne
• 2016: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
• 2017: Horizon Zero Dawn
• 2018: God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man
• 2019: Death Stranding
• 2020: Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part 2
• 2021: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
• 2022: God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West
• 2023: Marvel's Spider-Man 2
• 2024: Astro Bot

It is the only publisher that has managed to achieve such a result. It has won Sony's main award only twice: in 2018 with God of War and in 2020 with The Last of Us: Part 2. But can it do it again this year with Astro Bot?
