Samsung plans to introduce a new foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, in 2025. This device will be a more affordable version of the popular Galaxy Flip, and will probably use the same display as the Galaxy Flip 7.

Here's What We Know

However, to reduce the cost, Samsung may choose less powerful cameras and use an older or cheaper chipset.

Insider Ross Young said that the Galaxy Flip FE may have an Exynos 2400 or newer Exynos 2500 chip, which will provide optimal performance. By the time of launch, these processors may already be outdated.

As for the cameras, the phone will probably use the same system as the Galaxy Flip 6, without a telephoto module. It is not yet known whether the Galaxy Flip FE will be equipped with the new cameras that the company announced recently.

Samsung is not working on a cheaper version of the Galaxy Fold.
