Polish studio The Farm 51 has revealed the release date for post-apocalyptic survival shooter Chernobylite on Nintendo Switch.

Here's What We Know

On Japanese handheld consoles Chernobylite will be released on the 13th of December.

Buyers will be offered two editions - standard with all free updates and premium edition with two DLC, artbook and soundtrack in digital format.

Recall, Chernobylite was released in 2019 and received mostly positive reviews, although it was not a hit. Players are invited to explore the gloomy locations of the Zone, learn creepy secrets, engage in fights with bandits and various monsters and, of course, collect the mineral "Chernobylite", rendered in the title of the game.

Conceptually, the game resembles S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, but with much less emphasis on realism and immersiveness.

A sequel to Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is in development and is due out in 2025.
