Media: Ukraine used US ATACMS on russian territory for the first time - large arsenal destroyed

A few days ago, it became known that Ukraine had received permission, at least from the United States, to launch strikes with long-range missiles on the territory of the aggressor country russia.

Probably, last night the AFU carried out the first ATACMS strike deep into the enemy territory.

On November 19, 2024, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the arsenal of the 1046 logistics centre, which is located near the town of Karachev in the Bryansk region.

Twelve secondary explosions and detonations were recorded in the target area, confirming a hit on the ammunition depots.

This is not the first arsenal destroyed by Ukraine on Russian territory, but this operation is notable because both Ukrainian media and Western media claim that the strike was carried out by US ATACMS missiles, but official authorities have not yet confirmed the use of long-range missiles.

It is hardly a coincidence, but immediately after the strike on the arsenal, US Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Brian Nichols confirmed in an interview with the Brazilian publication O Globo that President Biden had authorised the use of US missiles on Russian territory.
