Samsung starts rolling out One UI 6 update for older Galaxy watch models.

Here's What We Know

The update, based on Wear OS 5, will offer a new interface and additional health tracking features, including FDA-approved sleep apnoea detection. There will also be new training modes, including the Race mode for running and cycling, which allows you to compare your current performance with previous results.

The Galaxy Watch6 series will be the first to receive the update, and other models will follow:

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch6
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch5
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch4
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic
  • Samsung Galaxy Watch FE

Improvements also include sleep features with AI algorithms to more accurately track sleep, heart rate and breathing.

The updated interface includes new watch faces, as well as user-friendly features such as responding to messages with minimal effort. In addition, the watch will be able to perform various actions through gestures, such as answering calls or rejecting alarms.
