OnePlus V Flip foldable smartphone may be announced earlier than expected

According to popular insider Digital Chat Station, OnePlus is planning to release its first foldable smartphone in the clamshell form factor, the OnePlus V Flip, in the second quarter of 2025.

The device was previously expected to hit the market in the third quarter of 2024, but new data indicates a postponement. The OnePlus V Flip will be part of the company's foldable smartphone lineup, alongside the already released OnePlus Open.

Earlier, there were rumours that the OnePlus V Flip could be a renamed version of the Oppo Find N5 Flip, but these speculations were denied as the company has allegedly refused to release this model.

Earlier it was reported that some Chinese smartphone makers, including Oppo, may abandon the launch of foldable devices due to low profitability. Therefore, the information about the launch of OnePlus V Flip model still needs to be confirmed.
