Blender 4.3 has been released with updates covering almost every aspect of the popular 3D modelling software.

Here's What We Know

The key changes include improvements to the Eevee rendering engine, new features for creating realistic metal textures, improvements to the pencil and video editor, and an updated user interface.

Of particular note is the new Physical Conductor mode for metal objects in Eevee, which allows you to more accurately model the interaction of light with metals. A slider for adjusting the surface texture has been added, allowing you to make objects such as bricks or wood look more natural. Integrated multi-pass compositing for better blending of effects in 3D scenes.

The Blender pencil now supports multi-threaded processing, which significantly increases the speed of work, and new brushes have been introduced that can be easily transferred between projects. The Video Editor and Compositor are now faster thanks to improved performance and multi-pass compositing.

The updated interface is cleaner and more user-friendly with scalable SVG icons and improved colour matching.

Blender 4.3 significantly improves performance and visual quality, enabling you to create even more detailed and realistic designs.
