Samsung starts testing Android 15 for Galaxy S23

The first test firmware for Android 15 for the Galaxy S23 series has appeared on Samsung's servers. This step indicates the beginning of preparations for the release of One UI 7.0, which is expected soon.

Here's What We Know

Despite the fact that the Galaxy S23 Ultra passed the first Android 15 tests back in July, active work on the update for the entire Galaxy S23 series began only this month. Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra owners are expected to join the beta test as soon as the programme for the new Galaxy S24 line is launched.

The official release of Android 15 with One UI 7.0 for Galaxy S23 and other devices will take place in 2025, after the announcement of the Galaxy S25 series.

In the meantime, Android 15 test firmwares have also been spotted for other models including the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy S24 FE.
