Lexus has updated the RZ electric crossover lineup in the US for the 2025 model year. There's a new base version, but what's most interesting is that the starting price of the vehicle has dropped by more than $10,000 compared to the 2024 RZ.

Here's What We Know

The Lexus RZ 2025 is available in three trims: base (RZ 300e FWD and RZ 450e AWD variants), Premium (RZ 300e Premium, RZ 450e Premium) and Luxury (RZ 300e Luxury, RZ 450e AWD Luxury).

The entry-level RZ 300e FWD version starts at a price of around $44,000, including $1,175 for delivery. The car gets a 72.8 kWh CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) battery pack that provides a range of up to 266 miles (428 km) on the EPA cycle with 18-inch wheels or 224 miles (360 km) with 20-inch wheels.

Meanwhile, the all-wheel-drive RZ 450e AWD with a 71.4 kWh PPES (Prime Planet Energy & Solutions) battery has a range of 220 miles (354 km) with 18-inch wheels and 196 miles (315 km) with 20-inch wheels. Prices start at $48,000. The AWD version has a dual-motor DIRECT4 system with a function to adapt to different road conditions.
