The upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra from Samsung may cost $100 more than the previous S24 Ultra model. The reason for the price increase is the rise in the cost of materials and new technologies that the company plans to introduce.

Here's What We Know

According to a source on Weibo, the cost of materials for the production of the new flagship has increased by $110, which may lead to an increase in the price of the device from $1299.99 to more than $1400.

One of the main reasons for the rise in price is the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is 25-30% more expensive than its predecessor. In addition, Samsung may introduce a new M14 display panel to improve image quality and a new 50-megapixel camera, replacing the previous 12MP sensor.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, even with the increased price, will offer new software features, including frame interpolation technology for gaming at 120 fps.
