Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is crashing! The ambitious game has been heavily criticised due to server problems and deceived expectations
Yesterday - 19th November - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was released. The developers did not skimp on advertising and promised a stunning flight simulator with a huge number of aircraft, routes, complex gameplay, beautiful graphics and the use of the most advanced technologies.
But the reality turned out to be somewhat different.
Here's What We Know
Steam users have criticised Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The game receives "extremely negative" reviews and only 18% of gamers were satisfied with it.
The main reason for the players' anger is a problem with the servers. They were overloaded, which can take up to several hours to load the game. Players also found out that the quality of graphics was somewhat lower than the developers demonstrated in their trailers.
Claims are also added by the fact that when buying Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in Steam, the game automatically requires the installation of its own additional launcher, and gamers do not like them.
The developers reacted to the situation and published a statement in which they recognised the problems with the servers and said that they have already been fixed, but players have yet to confirm this.
