Meta has unveiled new features for its Messenger app, its messaging app.

Users can now make HD video calls and use voice isolation available through the call settings menu. According to the company, HD calling has become a standard for Wi-Fi calling and an option for mobile calls. There's also the ability to leave audio or video messages if a contact is unavailable.
In addition, a new integration with Siri allows iOS users to send messages and make calls using voice commands. Meta has also launched artificial intelligence backgrounds for video calls, which can be created by tapping the "effects" icon during a call.
These updates follow recent Messenger improvements such as the communities feature, Meta AI chatbot in the search bar, and tools for sharing large files.
